Atea Avatars is proud to collaborate with Daryth Kennedy and Skylarian Isachenko from the Isle of Wyrms in a SLB7 exhibit on collaborating for a charitable cause.

The Isle of Wyrms charity fundraising festivals are themed events inviting the collaboration of fantasy avatar artists and neighboring communities. This “unique collaboration” features displays from the most recent themed festival, reflecting collaborations and contributions from Isle of Wyrms avatar artist Daryth Kennedy, fantasy avatar artist Atea Aeon, festival artistic director Skylarian Isachenko, and members of the Isle of Wyrms citizens group and neighboring communities.

Each festival has a unique theme during which the entire collection of isles is transformed with unique builds, featuring live music performances and community games.

A Gathering of the Isle of Wyrms Community

The charity auction raises a significant portion of the funds to benefit St. Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital in the United Kingdom, a hospital specializing in small wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. The Isle of Wyrms community has a focus on raising funds for hedgehog rescue.

The Isle of Wyrms, established in the early stages of Second Life, is a vibrant community of dragons, gryphons, tinies and other fantasy avatars. Four times yearly the Isles citizens and their neighbors gather at three day long festivals to raise funds for charity.

A significant portion of the funds are raised from a charity auction, in which dragon, gryphon, and hedgehog avatars by Daryth Kennedy, as well as her dragon familiar shoulder pet, are auctioned alongside fantasy humanoid avatars such as faeries, drows, and nekos by Atea Aeon, and furry avatars by Sylver Bu.

Proceeds from the auction benefit St. Tiggywinkles Wildlife Hospital in the United Kingdom, a hospital specializing in small wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.

Moehau Drow Faery Avatar

Moehau is a drow/faery hybrid, born of a drow father and a fae mother. Her mother is Mahana Dawn, a magnificent faery queen of elegant lavendar and purple hues:

Matava is the son of the Matai Aqua Male Faery and the Mahina Fire Faery. He inherited his aqua skin tone from his father, with fiery highlights from his mother. Flame features highlight his face and his skin. His eyes are saturated in aqua drops, but surrounded by flames. His wings and hair have the combined aqua and flame colors, and his chest is highlighted with aqua drops along with fiery flames.

Minako serves in Mahana Night Faery Queen’s Court, and is often seen in the company of Mairi, the Obsidian Faery.

Marama Female Drow Special Autumn Edition is a complete avatar, with custom drow skin, shape, hair, 3 pairs of eyes, custom Autumn cloak, Olive and Gold Autumn outfit, drow ears with spider earrings,  decorative weapon, and a fabulous set of customized boots in Olive Green and Gold.  Note that the short sword is not scripted, but it is modifiable so you can add a script if you like.

Atea Avatars Exotic Role Play Female avatars are exotic warriors who travel distant lands and adapt their style to the local traditions. They are trained in the use of weaponry and skilled in fighting, but prefer to charm their way through the worlds. Mitiana and Mehura are equally at home on the battlefield and dancing in court.

I decided that it’s time to focus on the creation of some role play and human avatars that have been requested by customers over the year. I’ll be working on a brand new fae line this fall, and wanted to make sure that I complete everything on my “in progress” list first!

Let me introduce Gilles Middle Aged Male Avatar, Guy Middle Aged Male Avatar, Marquis Goth Male Avatar and Mitiana Exotic Role Play Female Avatar. Gilles and Guy are part of my regular human male series. By popular demand I have created beardless middle aged males to accompany my other two middle aged males, Gaston and George.

Gilles is a professor type in a conservative grey suit, and comes as a complete avatar, with skin, eyes, outfit, eyeglasses, watch and shoes.

Guy  is a complete avatar, with custom middle aged skin with salt ‘n pepper eyebrows and body hair, shape, 3 hair colors (ash, dark grey, and brown black), stone grey eyes, three designer outfits, sculpted Italian shoes, and luxury designer watch. All of these are high quality designer clothes and accessories and come with copy/mod permissions.

Marquis Goth Male Avatar and Mitiana Exotic Role Play Female Avatar are new additions to my role play series, joining Mahere Mitiana Exotic Role Play Female Avatar, Marianne Goth Female Avatar, and Matthieu Medieval Male Avatar. There will be more to follow in this series in weeks to come.

Marquis Goth Male is a complete avatar, with custom goth skin, shape, 2 hairstyles, teal eyes, three full goth designer outfits with a cape and a long jacket, black and silver leather boots, and dark blue shoes. I also added facelight. Marquis is a stylish, sophisticated Goth whose tastes run from romantic to postmodern depending on his mood. Though he is known to prowl urban haunts, he also has a chateau hidden away in the countryside.

Mitiana Exotic Role Play Female is one of my few blonde avatars. I also added facelight. Mitiana is an exotic young woman who travels distant lands and adapts her style to the local traditions. She is trained in the use of weaponry and skilled in fighting, but prefers to charm her way through the worlds. Mitiana is equally at home on the battlefield and dancing in court. In fact, her fame as as an exquisite exotic dancer precedes her wherever she goes.
