In the finale, Atea Aeon will introduce her latest faery in the faery queen series, a majestic Night Faery Queen. Mahara is the first new faery queen in the series since January 2009.

Atea Avatars Fantasy Avatars

Introducing two new exotic role play female avatars, Mitiana and Mehura. Atea Avatars Exotic Role Play Female avatars are exotic warriors who travel distant lands and adapt their style to the local traditions. They are trained in the use of weaponry and skilled in fighting, but prefer to charm their way through the worlds. Mitiana and Mehura are equally at home on the battlefield and dancing in court.

I decided that it’s time to focus on the creation of some role play and human avatars that have been requested by customers over the year. I’ll be working on a brand new fae line this fall, and wanted to make sure that I complete everything on my “in progress” list first!

Let me introduce Gilles Middle Aged Male Avatar, Guy Middle Aged Male Avatar, Marquis Goth Male Avatar and Mitiana Exotic Role Play Female Avatar. Gilles and Guy are part of my regular human male series. By popular demand I have created beardless middle aged males to accompany my other two middle aged males, Gaston and George.

Gilles is a professor type in a conservative grey suit, and comes as a complete avatar, with skin, eyes, outfit, eyeglasses, watch and shoes.

Guy  is a complete avatar, with custom middle aged skin with salt ‘n pepper eyebrows and body hair, shape, 3 hair colors (ash, dark grey, and brown black), stone grey eyes, three designer outfits, sculpted Italian shoes, and luxury designer watch. All of these are high quality designer clothes and accessories and come with copy/mod permissions.

Marquis Goth Male Avatar and Mitiana Exotic Role Play Female Avatar are new additions to my role play series, joining Mahere Mitiana Exotic Role Play Female Avatar, Marianne Goth Female Avatar, and Matthieu Medieval Male Avatar. There will be more to follow in this series in weeks to come.

Marquis Goth Male is a complete avatar, with custom goth skin, shape, 2 hairstyles, teal eyes, three full goth designer outfits with a cape and a long jacket, black and silver leather boots, and dark blue shoes. I also added facelight. Marquis is a stylish, sophisticated Goth whose tastes run from romantic to postmodern depending on his mood. Though he is known to prowl urban haunts, he also has a chateau hidden away in the countryside.

Mitiana Exotic Role Play Female is one of my few blonde avatars. This is a complete avatar, with a custom skin, shape, 3 hairstyles, heather eyes, 3 complete exotic role play outfits (including capes, belts, accessories, armbands, tattoos and jewelry, decorative sword) and three pairs of boots. I also added facelight. Mitiana is an exotic young woman who travels distant lands and adapts her style to the local traditions. She is trained in the use of weaponry and skilled in fighting, but prefers to charm her way through the worlds. Mitiana is equally at home on the battlefield and dancing in court. In fact, her fame as as an exquisite exotic dancer precedes her wherever she goes.

Morris  is a complete avatar, with a custom neko skin (with white brows and white body hair), shape, neko hair style, ice neko eyes, scripted white angora neko ears, scripted white angora fluffy neko tail with black tips, a designer outfit with black leather jeans, a black jacket, and a white shirt, gloves, a tattoo, face piercings, and neko boots. I also added an extra pair of black leather pants with chains, and a facelight.

Mimi is a complete avatar, with 2 custom neko skins (one with frosty blue lips, the other with pink lips), prim lashes (one black pair, one white), shape, 3 hairstyles, clear ice spice and grey neko eyes, scripted white angora neko ears, scripted white angora fluffy neko tail with black tips, three designer outfits, neko pawprint tattoos for her thighs, stomach and breasts, a below the lip face piercing, and sexy boots (2 pairs, one blue, one white). As I gradually add avatars to the store and develop the lines, we have been running out of space at the store. I added a new store next to the first one in the late Spring, but didn’t get around to setting it up until about a week or so ago. My friend Skylarian Isachenko kindly dropped by to take a few pictures of the stores as they evolve.

“Real Life” projects have been keeping me busy, but I did manage to complete the lovely Mei Lin.  This is a complete avatar, with a custom Eurasian skin and shape, 2 hairstyles, black and brown eyes, a sleek black outfit with boots, a short sexy lace dress, and a silver necklace with earrings. Mei Lin is a lovely Eurasian female, comfortable in both Asian and European cultures. She is well educated, well traveled, and speaks a few languages. Sometimes Mei Lin likes to wear edgy sleek looks. At other times she prefers a softer style.

I have also been working on expanding the store, and now have two stores side by side – one for the human avatars, the other with the fantasy collection. Stay tuned for photos from the expansion.

This has been a busy time for Atea Avatars as we expand into fantasy markets and participate in some of the many fantasy fundraising events happening during this time of year.

One of the events we attended at the end of May was the wonderful Mystical Festival hosted by Lyr Lobo. The Mystical Festival features some of the best build classes I have taken in Second Life, along with concerts, games, and activities. This was the third annual event and the third festival I have attended! In 2007 I met the first Isle of Wyrms dragon I saw in Second Life at the Mystical Festival, the majestic Skylarian Isachenko, who will be a contributing author to this blog.

All proceeds from the Mystical Festival events benefit Relay for Life in the fight against cancer. I created a special faery for the event, the Mysti Summer Faery. All of Mysti’s sales benefit Relay for Life. Mysti is currently available for purchase at the Qissence main store and in some of our fantasy market shops.

Gosh, it’s hard to believe that May 1st has come and gone. Where did the time go? I’ve been busy continuing the expansion of the Atea Avatars faery forest. On Friday SomethingReal Atkey from Artisan Prefabs dropped by to create some steps and sidewalk to connect an expansion to the main store. He also customized the expanded store for me. It’s still a work in progress.

I also added a Treehouse to the grounds as my private home. Marion Lean of Blue Pearl Homes and Furniture is one of my favorite home builders in Second Life, and this is one of his designs.

I haven’t quite finished furnishing the interiors, but started with a fabulous leather living room suite by Candace Hudson, who does some of the best texture work in SL. She has been one of my favorite furniture designers in SL for quite a while. Here’s a shot of the living room in progress:

One of my fondest additions to the faery forest is the dragon tea party from Julia Hathor from Creative Fantasy. What a fun, imaginative piece of work!

On the avatar front, I’ve been wrapping up some avatars that I have been working on this spring. I have two more ready for the ladies, and will hopefully complete my male avatars in progress soon.

Moira is a sexy modern girl next door. This is a complete avatar, with a custom freckled skin, 3 hairstyles (one with biker scarf, one with a hat), natural brown eyes, three designer outfits, sneakers, shoes, and earrings.

Miriama is a lovely female dressed for an elegant night on the town. She comes with an exquisite golden ballroom gown with gold shoes; an elegant red flamenco gown with red shoes and traditional hairpiece, and a lovely blue gown with matching shoes.
